RunSwitch PR’s Chris Nation and Katherine Kington North Win Prestigious AAF-Louisville Awards
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – RunSwitch Public Relations, Kentucky’s leading PR firm, is proud to announce that Vice President of Digital Chris Nation was awarded an American Advertising Federation of Louisville (“AdFed”) “5-Star Member Service” Award, and Senior Account Executive Katherine Kington North has been named to the Federation’s “Hot 10” list. Both AdFed awards recognize stand out public relations professionals who are revolutionizing the industry and giving back to their community. The awards were presented at the Federation’s annual meeting on Thursday at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
The 5-Star Member Service award given to Nation recognizes five or more years of extraordinary contribution to the betterment of AdFed and its ideals. In addition to his leadership with AdFed, Nation is invested in several community organizations, including the Young Professionals Association of Louisville, Volunteers of America, and Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana. As Vice President of Digital, Chris has generated impressive results for numerous RunSwitch clients. He has also been widely recognized for his work by major digital organizations, including the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), Interactive Media Council, and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).

Katherine received Ad Fed’s “Hot 10 award”, which recognizes advertising and marketing professionals under 32 in the Louisville industry who go beyond the 8-to-5 workday in big and small ways. Katherine joined RunSwitch in 2016 after a decade-long career as a television news journalist. From crafting messages for media, coaching and consulting clients for on-air appearances, managing a breaking news crisis or writing, Katherine brings the agency’s clients a unique perspective directly from the newsroom.
