RunSwitch PR Kicks Off 2018 with Staff Promotions
(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – RunSwitch PR, Kentucky’s largest full-service public relations and public affairs firm, announced the advancement of two team members to new positions within the firm. Kathryn Parrish has been named senior account director and Austin Birge has been named account executive.
“RunSwitch is able to deliver the best results to our clients because of our amazing team, which boasts resumes steeped in journalism, corporate communications, and politics. I have enjoyed watching this team learn and grow and am proud of the work we do,” said RunSwitch Partner Gary Gerdemann.
Parrish came to RunSwitch in 2015 and has provided exceptional guidance and results for many of the firm’s healthcare and public affairs clients, including Churchill Downs, Pfizer, Waste Management and Alkermes. In 2017, she worked with Churchill Downs to announce the relocation of its TwinSpires.com business to Louisville, as well as its historic partnership with Keeneland to open two new racing facilities in Kentucky.
“RunSwitch has provided me a tremendous opportunity to develop as a public relations professional and become a part of the Louisville community, and I am excited to continue growing with the agency,” said Parrish, who joined the firm after relocating from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Birge joined RunSwitch in 2017 and continues to display abundant drive and creativity with the firm’s public affairs and political campaign clients, including Amazon, Kentucky Farm Bureau, EdChoice Kentucky, and Phillip Morris International.
“Our message to potential clients is simple: you won’t find more talented people who are as fast or effective as the team at RunSwitch,” said partner Scott Jennings. “We don’t let moss grow on your problems; we find solutions and move quickly to deliver results.”
RunSwitch recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and was named the largest and most successful PR firm in Kentucky according to the annual list compiled by Louisville Business First, the state’s leading business newspaper. RunSwitch has led the rankings for four straight years, experiencing tremendous growth while serving clients all over the country.
“It has been fun to watch our team grow and develop into outstanding public relations professionals,” said RunSwitch Partner Steve Bryant. “Each member of our team brings a different and distinct quality that allows us to deliver top-notch service to our clients.”
