Louisville Business First ranks RunSwitch PR #1 fourth year in a row

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – RunSwitch Public Relations has once again been recognized as the state’s largest PR firm according to the annual list compiled by Louisville Business First, Kentucky’s leading business newspaper. RunSwitch has led the rankings for four straight years.

“I’d put our team up against any PR firm in the country. We have experienced, talented, creative staff who constantly deliver for clients,” said RunSwitch Partner Gary Gerdemann.  “Our staff powers our growth.”

Founded in 2012 by veteran practitioners Gerdemann, Steve Bryant, and Scott Jennings, RunSwitch is one of the fastest-growing, full service PR firms in the nation, providing services to an impressive list of local, national, and international clients.RunSwitch clients range from Fortune 500 companies and national trade associations to Kentucky businesses and non-profits.

“The core of what we do is help our clients understand and navigate an extremely complex communication and public affairs landscape. We work all over the country and provide the same services as the big boys in the industry. We just do it out of Louisville, and with that comes the middle American insights and sensibilities that clients really value,” Jennings said.

RunSwitch opened for business in 2012 and has quickly grown to prominence in the state’s public relations and public affairs industries behind a great team of communications professionals. RunSwitch has also twice been recognized by Business First as a Best Place to Work.

In 2017, the firm added several new clients and a new line of business – television studio services in the form of the Bluegrass Media Lab. The studio is frequently featured on CNN, where Jennings is a political commentator appearing several times each week.

“Our media lab is open for business. We can broadcast anyone anywhere in the world and help clients quickly produce videos that suit many corporate communications purposes. We are excited about having in-house broadcasting services, a staffed green room for preparation and makeup, and the ability to put our clients on clean, crisp 4k video,” said Les Fugate, RunSwitch Executive Vice President.

Bryant said the company culture has a lot to do with being the state’s number one PR firm, “When we formed RunSwitch, we knew finding the right staff and creating a culture of success was going to be important. We’re proud of the members on our team and the work we produce that makes us number one, and we have fun while we do it!”

Bryant added: “We are looking forward to launching new services for clients in 2018. Stay tuned to our company’s social media channels for exciting developments in the weeks ahead!”
