Kentucky Farm Bureau

Project Description

Client:

Kentucky Farm Bureau

THE ISSUE:

The Kentucky Farm Bureau is a member-based and member-driven organization serving the interests of nearly half a million Kentucky farmers and families. The Kentucky Farm Bureau is the largest auto, farm, property and casualty insurer in Kentucky and prides itself on the fact that all money, reserves, or claims stay in the Commonwealth. The Kentucky Farm Bureau wanted to increase public awareness about their policy process at their annual ham breakfast.

OUR STRATEGY:

RunSwitch Public Relations worked with The Kentucky Farm Bureau to streamline and harness positive messaging leading into the annual County Ham Breakfast.  The project resulted in the creation of the KFBLovesKY! campaign which was used as the foundation for the overriding message, media relations and content delivery during the ham breakfast.

RESULTS:

The overall coverage of the ham breakfast trended positive, and, for the first time, mentions of the KFB policy process were included in the story. The campaign allowed the KFB to share their story with members, media, and the public. The president, Mr. Haney, delivered remarks written by RunSwitch at the breakfast that were well received and led to the KFBLovesKY! campaign being discussed in counties across the state. The KFBLovesKY! campaign has created a messaging platform that transcends any one event and continues to elevate the organization.
