Meet Ariel Weihl, RunSwitch’s Spring Intern

RunSwitch extends a big welcome to our spring intern, Ariel Weihl. Learn more about Ariel below.

Name: Ariel Weihl
Hometown: Born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, but grew up in Louisville
College/Year/Major: University of Louisville/Senior/Marketing
What part of your internship are you most excited about? Being able to work with, and learn from, the best PR team in the state
What drew you to intern at RunSwitch? The work environment. It’s laid back and friendly, but everyone is working their hardest. There’s always something to work on and something to learn.
What is one skill you hope to get better at during your internship? Pitching ideas to my boss, clients, and the press
Favorite Louisville restaurant: Either Queen of Sheba or China Inn
Favorite summer activity: Relaxing outside, preferably by the pool, with a good book
Current Netflix binge: Once Upon A Time
Dream travel destination: There are a lot, but one of my top ones is South Africa
Three things you would want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island: A working boat, a big case of water, and sunblock
Go-to karaoke song: Anything by Taylor Swift or from a Disney movie
Last really great book you read: The Great Gatsby
One thing you’ve waited in line the longest for: It’s a toss-up between The Louvre or an ice cream shop called Berthillion, both in Paris and both worth the wait.
