RunSwitch PR’s Kaylee Carnahan Named to PR News “Rising PR Stars 30 and Under”
RunSwitch Public Relations, Kentucky’s leading PR firm, is proud to announce Vice President Kaylee Carnahan has been named to the prestigious PR News “Rising PR Stars 30 & Under” list. PR News awards celebrate the success of top public relations and communication professionals; the rising star award recognizes stand out public relations professionals who are revolutionizing the industry. The awards were presented at a luncheon today at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

As Vice President at RunSwitch, Kaylee has become a trusted partner for RunSwitch’s clients. With a background in political campaigns and grassroots communications, she is a leading national public affairs and public relations strategist. She runs federal and state public policy campaigns for some of the largest companies in the Midwest, Southeast, and across the globe. Kaylee developed and continues to run the company’s media buying operations. Her clients are beneficiaries of her expert grassroots advocacy work paired with traditional public relations strategies to create winning results. Many of her projects have won national awards, including MarCom Awards and Hermes Creative Awards.
RunSwitch leadership met Kaylee while she worked for Congressman Brett Guthrie in Kentucky and continued working with her in various capacities until RunSwitch PR was formed in 2012. Carnahan joined the initial team and has quickly risen to a leadership position. She has gone above and beyond, exceeding expectations at every turn in her career and was promoted to Vice President at the age of 29. A mentor for new staff, Carnahan’s management style has made her an integral part of the agency’s continued growth.
