Katie Custer joins the RunSwitch PR team as an Account Coordinator. She has experience in community relations, facilitation, event planning, and research.
Before joining RunSwitch as an intern, she was heavily involved in various organizations during her time as a student at the University of Kentucky. At UK, she served as the Panhellenic President and President-Elect in the Panhellenic Council. In this role, she planned council events, created and facilitated workshops, maintained council relations and communications, and recruited on behalf of the council.
Aside from Katie’s student organization activities, she has experience in event planning and coordination. She previously served as a Student Event Coordinator for the Office of University Events at the University of Kentucky. Through this role, she planned and coordinates small and large scale events on the University’s campus. Katie also served as a conference intern for the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values. Here she aided in the execution of the largest gathering of undergraduate students while ensuring conference attendees were satisfied throughout their experience.
Katie received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Organizational Communication from the University of Kentucky.
