Jennifer Kirkendall Durenberger – Senior Account Executive

Jennifer Kirkendall Durenberger serves as a Senior Account Executive at RunSwitch PR.  As an experienced communications professional and project manager, Jennifer makes client service her top priority.  With a wide range of experience working in government, business chambers, and education, Jennifer offers clients seasoned communications advice and direction.

As Director of Communications/Media Relations for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, she oversaw all communications for the largest business organization in the state.  Prior to the Chamber, she was a program manager for a public policy firm, where she designed and managed issue-based forums, annual meetings, special events and ongoing programs for a variety of clients and business leaders in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Jennifer served for four years as Deputy Press Secretary and Communications Director for U.S. Senator Christopher S. “Kit” Bond in Washington, D.C.  She devised and directed national and regional media coverage, managed production and coordination of press events, wrote extensively on complex issues and served as the primary official spokesperson in D.C. for the Senator during his 1992 re-election. 

While raising her family, Jennifer worked in her children’s school for several years serving parents, teachers and administration.  She also helped establish and grow an award-winning interior design firm in Louisville. Her exceptional client/customer service, attention to detail, and deadline-driven project management are a hallmark of her work. 

As a native of St. Louis, Jennifer is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys cheering on the Crimson Tide with her husband and their two sons.
