RunSwitch VP of Digital Chris Nation Elected Chairman of the Board for The American Advertising Federation of Louisville
LOUISVILLE, KY., – Chris Nation, Vice President of Digital at RunSwitch PR, Kentucky’s largest full-service public relations and public affairs firm, has been elected Chairman of the Board for The American Advertising Federation of Louisville (AAF-Louisville) by the AAF-Louisville board for the 2019-2020 term.
AAF-Louisville is the area’s oldest membership organization for marketing, advertising, and communications professionals. As chairman, Nation will oversee the 45 member Board of Directors and help advance the organization’s mission of growing Greater Louisville’s network of marketing professionals. He will also support advocacy efforts to protect and promote the well-being of the area’s communications industry.
“It is an honor to be named the chairman of this influential board and continue the 100+ year history of serving as the unifying voice for advertising in the Louisville area,” said Nation. “The AAF-Louisville is comprised of talented professionals who are churning out award-winning work and helping to drive the economic engine of our region.”
Members of the board are volunteers representing more than 500 members of Louisville’s $1 billion advertising, marketing, PR, and communications industry. AAF-Louisville has been awarded the Division 1 Club of the Year in the American Advertising Federation’s National Club Achievement Competition twelve times, making it the most recognized in the history of the club’s achievement competition.
