RunSwitch PR officially open, releases polls

RunSwitch LLC officially opened for business last week, after operating informally since
July.

The public relations and public affairs firm was founded by Scott Jennings, Steve Bryan
and Gary Gerdemann, all of whom previously have worked for Peritus Public Relations
LLC. The three are equal partners in RunSwitch.

The firm provides political consulting and public affairs, agriculture and equine
marketing, and issue and crisis management. Thus far, the firm has more than 20 clients.
“It’s going great, it’s been really positive,” Jennings told me in an interview today at the
firm’s office.

RunSwitch started with five people and has grown to 12 employees. The company
currently leases 2,600 square feet in Brownsboro Office Park.

One recent project for the firm was conducting a poll, in conjunction with Harper Polling,
to test issues being debated in the Kentucky General Assembly, survey opinions for the
next U.S. Senate race in Kentucky and determine Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear’s job
approval.

Andrew Robinson covers these beats: Restaurants, retail, government, human resources,
technology, automotive (dealers, services), media/marketing/printing, young
professionals, West End, East End and Oldham County.
